Grateful for the encounter, I owe nothing.

Some say that all encounters in this world are reunions after a long separation.

Fate is a wondrous thing; perhaps everything is predetermined. Countless people enter our lives, but only a few truly enter our hearts. Many relationships only last a short while, unable to last a lifetime. Every person we meet has an unfinished connection from a past life, and meeting again in this life is simply to repay that debt. Because of fate, we cross mountains and rivers to meet; because of lack of fate, we meet only to brush past each other again.

Not every hand-holding leads to a lifetime together, and not every acquaintance leads to a lifelong bond.

Regardless, everyone you meet in this life will leave a mark on your life. Those who love you bring warmth, those who hurt you teach you heartache, and those who leave you teach you to let go… All encounters and separations are ordained by fate. Fate brings us together and separates us; there's no need to force it. Only cherish the present and let things take their course.

Whether someone accompanies you for a short while or for a lifetime, meeting them is already a rare and precious connection. Even if we part ways forever and never see each other again, it will still be a precious memory.

Some people appear in your life only to teach you a lesson, to show you that many people in this world are not trustworthy. The affection you give may not be reciprocated, and the sincerity you offer may not be cherished. In the ups and downs of life, we all learn to let go. Time and reality tell us that you will only meet a handful of people in your lifetime who are truly good to you. Don't easily fall too deeply in love with people or things, or you will ultimately hurt yourself. Sometimes, we are unwilling to let go not entirely because the feelings are still there, but simply because of a reluctance to accept it. We can neither obtain what we desire nor let go of what we cannot. When it's time to let go, no matter how reluctant you are, you must say goodbye. Because fate has reached its end, and it cannot be changed, so don't linger. If you have to blame someone, blame the fact that the love was deep but the fate was shallow. But if you insist on living in the past, after missing the sunrise, you will eventually miss the starry sky as well.

The furthest distance in the world is not love, not hate, but familiar people gradually becoming strangers. But life is like a rare, unrepeatable film; some things, no matter how hard you try, are gone forever. Fate often leaves us powerless, leaving us only to bury our regrets in our hearts. Cherish what belongs to you, and don't cling to what isn't. If you've gained something or lost something, let it go. In this vast sea of people, to meet and know each other is already a blessing. Whether we ultimately achieve a happy ending is not important; the journey is what matters most. Sincerity for sincerity will surely warm hearts—this applies to love and friendship alike.

Regardless of the outcome, cherish what you have and strive for a life without regrets. For the rest of my life, I am grateful for the encounters, and I owe nothing to anyone!
