To our simple, beautiful moments.
From the moment we are born, the exchange between hearts begins. From
unfamiliar faces and unfamiliar conversations to familiar faces and heartfelt talks, cherishing each other as the most precious thing
, then to occasional contact, and finally just polite greetings,
the cycle of these six simple words—unfamiliar, strange, and unfamiliar—is actually pieced together from bittersweet experiences.
Many companionships are truly like short trips:
beautiful scenery floats in your vision, and
the people within it unknowingly enter your sight, making you linger, and unconsciously
revealing your truest self to them . Unbeknownst to you
, while you are still immersed in the beautiful scenery,
you overlook the fact that even the most beautiful fireworks are fleeting,
and you overlook the subtle changes that have occurred in some relationships, and the quiet preparations for some people to leave.
You just haven't felt it, or you're unwilling to admit it.
When you can feel the gradual estrangement, you still try your best to carefully nurture it with your small amount of energy,
but you forget that friendship and love are ultimately a matter between two people
. How can one person alone maintain it?
Until finally, you're exhausted and don't want to torture yourself anymore maintaining those relationships you once valued so much.
In some future moment, you'll have a sudden realization
: Those who once held important positions in your life, even if you no longer feel the familiarity you had when you first met
, are enough to remember the little joys they brought to your ordinary days during your formative years.
No one stays with anyone forever; we'll always meet someone and lose someone at the next crossroads.
But I hope we never experience the feeling of only seeing new faces and not seeing old ones.
Thank you to everyone who has appeared in my life and given me beautiful memories—
whether it's my best friends, female friends, or male friends;
whether it's good colleagues, good leaders, or good customers at work;
whether it's even strangers I've only met once in life—
to everyone who has made me feel warm, left me with heartwarming memories during my boring times—I
sincerely thank you for your companionship.
Thank you for all the encounters
. Thank you for the little joys you've given me.
