Watching the sunrise from Phoenix Mountain
Phoenix Town boasts a natural Phoenix Heavenly Lake, attracting countless visitors eager to witness its sunrise and perhaps even spot the giant salamanders. In winter, snow sometimes falls on the lake. Phoenix's local specialty is Phoenix tea; wherever there are trendy people, there is Phoenix tea.
Around four in the morning, people are still sound asleep. The dark sky is dotted with only a few twinkling stars, and all is quiet except for the sound of wind rustling through fallen leaves and the chirping of insects.
The tea trees on the mountain smile in the darkness, silently attracting the dawn. The unpolluted natural oxygen bar provides energy to the tea trees, allowing them to live a more vibrant life and brew a richer, more fragrant tea for humanity.
Suddenly, a series of knocks on the door wakes me from my sweet dream. "Watch the sunrise! Get up quickly!" I hurriedly get dressed, wash my face, brush my teeth, drink a cup of water, and run outside to wait for the bus.
The tour bus sped towards us from afar, and when it stopped, everyone scrambled to board. The journey was utterly silent, save for the sound of the engine.
The bus quickly reached the mountaintop where Phoenix Heavenly Lake was located. The opposite mountains were faintly visible, surrounded by terraced fields. Farmers here rely on these high-altitude terraces to cultivate tea trees and prosper. Tea is their life's sustenance and a substantial source of income.
In the distance, a few flashes of light flew towards us; upon closer inspection, we realized they were fireflies acting as streetlights. A gentle breeze blew across the surface of the Heavenly Lake. There used to be giant salamanders in the lake; I wonder if they still exist? Are they still playing in the water? Will they be awakened by our arrival?
Suddenly, a golden ray appeared on the eastern horizon, slowly breaking through the darkness, illuminating the sky with multicolored light. It was sunrise, the most beautiful and unique moment. The golden light gradually devoured the darkness, and the sun, accompanied by countless golden rays, slowly emerged. Everyone frantically took photos of the most beautiful moment of the sunrise.
As the sun peeks out, the tea bushes on the terraced fields are shrouded in mist, the mountains remain lush and verdant, and the sea of clouds is ever-changing. Mountains within clouds, clouds within mountains, drifting and ethereal, appearing and disappearing as if veiled in mystery—a truly divine painting of heaven and earth. The sky is slowly brightening, white clouds encircling the mountaintops, a beautiful sea of clouds reflected in the waters of Tianchi Lake, water and sky merging into one, captivating the viewer.
The sunrise from Phoenix Mountain is breathtaking. Countless photographers rise before dawn to climb the mountain, awaiting that moment when thousands of golden rays of sunlight illuminate the sunrise. Watching the sunrise is unforgettable, leaving one reluctant to leave, lingering in the enchanting sea of clouds.
