Life has its ups and downs, its gatherings and separations, its trials and tribulations, its give and take, and its health. It's said that health is the foundation of everything; most of the time, you need a healthy body to do what you want and fulfill your dreams. However, not everyone in this world is always healthy. Birth, aging, illness, and death are the norm. Some people are born with poor health, even suffering from certain diseases.
Thinking about myself, my health has never been very good since childhood; I've always been weak and sickly. Because of my health, I feel that many of my dreams may forever remain just dreams. Nevertheless, I still want to live each day to the fullest. Last night, unable to sleep, a question popped into my mind: if I had only seven days left to live, how would I spend them? How should I spend them? Thus, this article came to be.
If I had only seven days left to live, how would I spend those final days? I think I would choose to leave the hospital. I don't want to spend the last few days of my life in the hospital. After all, hospitalization is expensive and pointless; why waste time and money? Before my life ends, I want to enjoy those remaining days happily. If
I had seven days left to live, on the first day, I would like to watch the sunrise and sunset with my loved one. The sunrise in the east is fiery red, and strolling with my loved one in the afterglow of the sunset would be a beautiful scene. Reflecting on my daily life, I rarely have the opportunity to see sunrises and sunsets. If I can't travel far due to health reasons, then setting up a small stool near my home and watching the sunrise and sunset would be a wonderful thing.
If I had seven days left to live, on the second day, I would like to read a book I like, whether it's a novel, an essay, or a joke—anything I enjoy. Reading can broaden one's horizons. "Books hold a wealth of knowledge, books hold beauty and wisdom." Reading has always been a dream of mine. Due to health reasons, I never finished university, which is probably my biggest regret in life.
If I had only seven days left to live, on the third day I would hope to have the opportunity to eat some fruit and snacks—be it cookies, cake, peanuts, sunflower seeds, or other fruits like apples, bananas, grapes, and oranges—as long as my body allows it. I've always loved to eat. For me, whether I'm rich or poor, having food and drink is good enough. Some things in life can't be forced, so I won't force them. Thinking too much and wanting too much is exhausting.
If I had only seven days left to live, on the fourth day I would hope to have the opportunity to watch some movies or TV series that I used to enjoy, or even short videos. It would be great if someone watched with me, but if no one did, I would just sit alone on the sofa and watch my favorite movies or TV series. Looking back from childhood to now, I haven't enjoyed many movies or TV series, and as I've grown up, I've hardly watched any at all. Therefore, at that time, I wanted to reminisce about my past by watching movies or TV series.
If I had only seven days left to live, by the fifth day my condition would probably be very serious. With little time left to live, I probably wouldn't be able to move around much. But if I had the chance, I would still like to look through the photos on my phone. I have thousands of photos on my phone now. I don't know when I started to enjoy taking pictures, but my phone is filled with countless landscape and portrait photos. Looking through the photos is also a way for me to reminisce.
If I had only seven days left to live, by the sixth day I probably wouldn't be able to stand up. But if I had the chance, I would still like to listen to my favorite music. I have almost two hundred songs on my phone, but I don't think I really like many of them. With music to accompany me, I think even lying in bed wouldn't be too boring. After all, we live in the age of mobile phones, and most people like to play on their phones.
If I had only seven days left to live, by the seventh day, when my life was about to end, I didn't want to do anything. I just wanted to lie quietly in bed. Having someone to accompany me is certainly nice, but if I'm alone, I hope I can leave this world peacefully. I might reflect on my life, then close my eyes and let myself pass away peacefully in my sleep.
If you had only seven days left to live, how would you plan to spend those remaining seven days?
